The Dutch Geological Association department Limburg is 70 years old and is celebrating this anniversary day in Museum Valkenburg. The association has been here since 1971 and the Geology room has recently been completely renovated, with rocks and fossils from the region and with the new Felder cabinet, named after our most important pioneers.
The 70th anniversary of a special anniversary is celebrated on 9 November. Everyone is welcome, free entrance but just register via e-mail.

Geology tests have been prepared and microfossils can be viewed with microscopes, especially interesting for the youth to learn something from the Earth.
Sandwiches are available for lunch. To ensure enough food and drink, please register by email: geol.ver.limb@gmail.com.
The booklet belonging to the walk can then be purchased.
