From 5 July to 4 October 2020, Museum Valkenburg will be showing an extensive exhibition of the varied oeuvre of Petran Vermeulen (1915-1988).
Petran Vermeulen’s work is very diverse, but always of great quality. Undoubtedly this was thanks to the solid teachers he has known. That Petran was able to paint perfect portraits was already evident at the academy, where he received the first prize for portrait painting in his graduation year and the first prize for drawing from life.
