On Wednesday, October 23, the youths of groups 7 and 8 of Basisschool Valkenburg also visited our exhibition We do Remember in our Museum and in the Post as part of a large experience tour.
With great pleasure David Loozen, Michael Wansink, Annie Essers and Willem Vermeer told the children stories about the occupation and the liberation of Valkenburg. Their listening discipline and interest were striking.
This mutual acquaintance – the children with the museum and our supervisors with interested children – certainly tastes more. We will meet with the schools as soon as possible to evaluate this meeting and discuss a follow-up.
